Ilsur Metshin comments on Cirque du Soleil «Corteo» show

All the "cultural products" I perceive as an organizer as obliges due to my functions. The mayor has to act as the mayor, and instinctively he is responsible for everything that happens around. This interferes to perception, and it is impossible to have fun and enjoy the process... But when after the premiere of the show our audience applauded for 10 minutes, calling four artists, I forgot about everything else. The level of Kazan viewers, their joy and delight, some new bright at their faces, plus the fantastic show "Corteo" led me to believe in a fairy tale, and this all gave a truly synergistic effect. This made a strong impression on me.
