I. Metshin about the eco-rehabilitation of the system of lakes Lebyazhie

The project of eco-rehabilitation of the Lebyazhie lakes system is of great importance for the city's ecosystem. We will significantly improve the whole ecological situation in the territory of Big Kazan by the restoration of lakes. Given that the city does not have many places for recreation on water, we just do not have the right for mistakes. Therefore, we are well prepared: we have discussed all the works repeatedly with ecologists and received their full approval. The opinion of ecologists in the recovery of the Lebyazhie is more important than the opinion of the builders.

In general, the scale of the work is impressive. The restored reservoir can be compared by the volume with Kazanka River in the water area from the Kirovskaya to the Leninskaya dams. This is a huge water mirror! The area of the water surface will increase to 36 hectares. Such a large-scale project became possible due to the support of Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, who first launched the program of parks and squares, and then the improvement of the water areas of the republic. And of course, I want to thank the group of companies “TAIF”, which is acting as the general sponsor of the implementation of the eco-rehabilitation project for the lakes system Lebyazhie.
