Camping is
an absolutely new direction for Kazan and a well-developed one in Europe. We
need infrastructure in order to make tourists stay in picturesque places of
Kazan and neighboring areas. 11 thousand tourists are not even 1% of the guests
who came to Kazan and drove to neighbor areas. The question “why don't they
come?” has an obvious answer: because there is no connection, no accommodation
for the night, there are unresolved issues of security and infrastructure.
Having considered the economic feasibility, with the involvement of private
business, we plan to reach the republican level with a project to create
conditions and infrastructure for recreation where there are only so-called
vacant lots and wild beaches. We hope Kazan will have decent camping
areas soon.
