From 4 to 7
of July, Moscow hosted the Moscow Urban Forum. This year, it was devoted to
discussing issues and presentations of initiatives of city administrations,
businesses, citizens, aimed at ensuring balanced and sustainable development of
cities, improving life quality through the implementation of large-scale
projects. What the city should be like, what environment and ecology, what
place should a person take, and what should be done to accept the challenge of
the world order were reflected in the forum.
Already
today, more than half of the world's population lives in cities. In the near
foreseeable future, this figure could reach 80%. In this regard, the indicated
questions are particularly relevant.
In addition
to getting acquainted with interesting projects, useful practitioners, we were
able to identify the most crutial tasks for the future. We take part in such
events to learn and correctly manage our future.
