The Victory Park

This year was declared the Year of parks and gardens by President of the Republic of Tatarstan. And Kazan citizens as no one else could see large-scale renovation,  that have taken place in many city parks. But perhaps the most important project for us was the reconstruction of the Victory Park on the eve of May 9 - the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

To complete the work in time, taking into account the views of our veterans and with respect to the historical truth, has become a priority for us at our work.  After all it's not just a green area, Victory Park should correspond to it’s name and have to transfer the spirit of the Victory. I think we honorably coped with the task. Memorial park area has been completely renovated, an electronic pavilion of the Memory Books has been opened, the museum of military equipment in the open air has got a second life. Finally, the legendary T-34 tank has appeared in the park. It's a real battle tank, that had fought for the Victory. And the Board of Trustees of the park, the builders showed such reverent attention to every detail! Of course, the best reward for their work became the happy eyes of veterans who have experienced a sense of joy and pride for the country.

In my opinion, all Kazan citizens, who have not visited the Victory Park yet, should definitely do it to feel the spirit of history, pay tribute to our veterans and just relax with the whole family.
