I. Metshin about illumination in the city

The degree of illumination of the city speaks of the status. The brighter the city, the more significant it is. When you come to the best, richest cities in the world, there is no difference between day and night, they are equally bright. We cannot set ourselves such a task due to the budget. But we are striving to make the city bright and we work for this goal every year.

Over the past year, Kazan has gained “more bright spots”. A lot of work was done in the residential complex “Salavat Cupere”. Last year, the “Kazenergo” carried out large-scale works on organizing street lighting: 152 light points were installed. This work must be continued.

There were many appeals before the reconstruction of the Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky forest began. People walk directly from Bratiev Kasimovyh Street to Gorki, past the meat-packing plant, there were people's paths. Today it is safe to walk there at any time of the day and night, as, indeed, in other parks.

The work that is being done to illuminate the roads is even more important, because it also impacts the road safety. We try to maintain the standards of road illumination. In general, the provision of light and heat are the most important factors in ensuring the life of our city. These are our primary tasks.
