I. Metshin about the overhaul

Since this year, the mechanism for the implementation of the program for overhauling housing and social facilities is changing. Contractors will be selected by the regional operator of an overhaul in the RT “Housing Fund of the RT”.

This measure is necessary for the republic, but this does not mean that we will no longer control the work of contractors. On the contrary, we take this direction under special control. If we see some failures, roughness, if we see that this is not our pace, style, and quality of work, including communication with the population, we will immediately inform the fund management about it, so the program won’t fail. We have no right to reduce the level of our residents’ trust. I would like to see the implementation of the new form go smoothly.

We will meet at specific sites, watch the progress of each program. The number of programs in Kazan is great. But we need to monitor this work weekly and interfere with the design decisions. You need to pay more attention and put your soul and heart in the overhaul of each object.

In general, over 10 years of implementing the overhaul program of housing stock and social facilities, we have worked out all the mechanisms to automatism. We have learned to work. There is practically no house or social object with complaints of the citizens. At each meeting, the citizens ask us to repair some new object. And our great achievement is that we have the opportunity not only to promise, but to call specific dates for any of the programs: schools, kindergartens, healthcare institutions or teenage clubs.
