The presidential elections were held On March 18. A lot of work has been done to prepare and hold an election campaign in Kazan. First of all, this concerned the legitimacy of the election campaign, security at the polling stations.

Kazan showed a relatively high turnout compared to other cities; 61.5% of Kazan came to polling stations, for which we are grateful. Kazan has passed another exam for political maturity. It always worth a lot when Kazan citizens, as one family, votes, influences the result both in the republic and in Russia, supports by actions, not just words. Together we took a step into tomorrow's strong Russia, we chose our leader. 76 % have voted for Vladimir Putin in Kazan.

In general, a lot of organizational responsible, professional work has been done. In addition to organizing the most electoral process, there were a lot of events. Heads of district administrations and departments met with residents in yards, in social institutions, schools, universities, medical institutions. We heard our people's wishes, expectations, and we will certainly try to justify them.
