Not so long ago, we together with heads of structural units
and heads of district administrations visited several reports of school
principals, including those where the results leave much to be desired. We carefully
studied the reasons and outlined for ourselves a plan for 23 schools that we
are going to implement. We hope that in the next academic year we will see
tangible results and pull up those who are now at the bottom of the “tournament
table”. There should not be schools-outsiders in the capital of Tatarstan. We
must ensure equal conditions for all children to start in the future!
In this regard, attention will be paid not only to capital
repairs of schools, the passing of the USE, and certification of 9-graders. The
plan is much broader: staff rotation, development, and introduction of new
technologies, study of best practices of the best schools of Tatarstan and
outside the republic are necessary.
The last academic year was not easy for schools, especially
for managers and the director's corps. The issue of teaching the Tatar language
has arisen. We saw the complexity and morbidity of this issue. Once again, it
became obvious that it is necessary to carefully review the methodology of
teaching our native languages in Kazan. I am sure that the solution of this
question will be found, but on the basis of some social contract. This issue
cannot be solved be directives and directions.
At the same time, despite all the crises our education
system continues to work effectively. The most important confirmation is the
success of the Kazan schoolchildren at the republican, Russian and
international Olympiads. Kazan continues to occupy the third place after Moscow
and St. Petersburg by the number of prize places in the All-Russian Olympiad.
Moreover, the number of winners of the regional stage of the All-Russian
Olympiad of schoolchildren from Kazan grew by 20% compared to last year, up to
471 pupils. These children are our pride and an incentive to continue our work!
The Lyceum №131 entered the top 25 best schools in Russia,
and 16 more schools are included in the top 500 best schools in Russia. This is
the result of the systematic work of our education, which shows the quality of
teaching in Kazan schools. And great merit in this is the directors of schools
