Thanks to
the President of the country that such projects are supported. All this helps
to develop our public institutions and speaks about the maturity of society.
It is
difficult to imagine a modern city without such projects. This year, 58
projects from Tatarstan, including 32 projects submitted by Kazan public
organizations, won the first contest of socially significant projects in 2018.
It's really valuable!
One of such
projects is the “Good Wave”. A unique project of its kind that helps children
in a difficult life situation to make dreams come true. There is a state
program for medical support for disabled children, for rehabilitation. But
there are no such measures of state support to develop the creative potential,
to implement their dreams. The grant allocated for the development of the
festival is a good example of how we can work together in this direction.
The project
for the visually impaired “See and hear with the heart”, presented by the
National Islamic Charity Fund “Yardem”, the social shelter “Kolybel” of the
Center for Protection of Maternity and Childhood “Umilenie”, the festival of
the debut documentary “Rudnik” from the Center for Contemporary Culture
“Smena”, The Kazan hospice of A. Vavilova are among the other winners. The
victory in the contest of our Kazan funds is largely due to the city project
“Good Kazan”. We specially conducted forums and invited and venerable funds,
public organizations. Our colleagues, who are only taking their first steps in
this direction, can find new ideas in these forums. But the most important
thing is coaching, within which they can learn how to properly apply for grants
and organize work.
The grants
received is the result of a common effort. Our motto is: “Not instead of, but
together”, we say it from the start. We organized a systematic joint work with
active, concerned Kazan citizens, public organizations, funds, which today
together create a “Good Wave” in Kazan. Now the capital of Tatarstan is
experiencing a new stage in the development of charity. It becomes part of the
way of life. Thanks to the project “Good Kazan”, city residents can get
accurate information about which funds they need to address in difficult
situations, what they specialize in and which of them can be trusted.
