I.Metshin on voluntary initiatives during the coronavirus pandemic

Big enterprises, representatives of small companies, and just responsive citizens provide assistance during a difficult epidemiological situation. We express our thanks you to everyone. This is the case when a friend in need is a friend indeed. It is a matter of honor for us to thank everyone who provided support, and not to forget anyone. These are the true faces of “Good Kazan”.

It is very important that in such uneasy moments a socially responsible business proves itself, willing to help.

Every day, we receive messages to our hotline, to my e-mail, from people who want to contribute: they don't want to stay at home at this moment. Volunteers are now doing really important work for the city. As volunteers, they deliver food, medicine, and provide all possible assistance. This is a special category of people-selfless and positive. For them, helping is like breathing. There are those who have become volunteers and have been helping us since the Universiade and other major events. That means a lot.

I am very proud that we have such responsive and kind citizens in Kazan.
