The fifth humanitarian cargo weighing almost 100 tons was shipped from
the capital of Tatarstan to Lisichansk. Five trucks under the auspices of the Good
Kazan will deliver products, building materials and an autonomous diesel boiler
to residents of the city supported by Tatarstan. The shipment of the first this
year’s humanitarian cargo was inspected by the Mayor of the city Ilsur Metshin.
“There is everything necessary-
food, medicines, warm clothes, household chemicals, building materials. In
total, 340 enterprises of Kazan have already taken part in the cargo
collection, thanks to all concerned residents. Besides goods, people bring to
the humanitarian supplies collection points their warmth, compassion and the
best wishes to the residents of Lisichansk,”- the head of the city noted.
In addition to essential goods, roofing materials and heating devices
were sent to Lisichansk – 17 heaters and heating pellets for them, as well as 8
portable gas stoves. In addition, as part of the fifth humanitarian cargo – a
self-contained diesel boiler, which was specially assembled for one of the
social facilities of Lisichansk by employees of LLC Teploenergetik. The
peculiarity of the device is that it can be used to heat a building with an
area of up to 4,000 square meters. “This once again shows that there are many
caring people in Kazan. We will definitely continue collecting and sending
humanitarian supplies to the residents of Lisichansk,”- I. Metshin stressed.
In 2022, more than 300 organizations joined the collection of
humanitarian aid. Thirty-four more enterprises contributed to the collecting of
new cargo, as well as educational institutions, deputies of the Tatarstan State
Council and Kazan City Duma. Residents of the city bring essential goods and
food to the collection points.
Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of Kazan Ildar Shakirov and First
Deputy head of the administration of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts Ilsur
Khismatullin took part in the shipment of the humanitarian cargo.
For reference, the centralized collection of humanitarian supply started
in Kazan in November 2022. The warehouse at 53a Gorkovsky Highway became a
single point of collection and acquisition of humanitarian goods.
