people. The seats in the new model are designed for 42 passengers, including 4
seats for people with disabilities.
During snowfall, the MAZ 216 bus, belonging to a large class, shows
better performance than medium-sized vehicles.
“It is necessary to test the bus. The manufacturer is well known to us,
about 380 MAZ buses run on the roads of Kazan. This model is comfortable for
passengers. Such an accordion, as people call them, is necessary for us to
serve passengers of Salavat Kupere and Derbyshki,”- the head of the city noted.
According to Albert Mukhametshin, director of the Municipal Unitary
Enterprise PATP 2, which purchased the bus, low-floor vehicles of this brand
are popular in St. Petersburg and Minsk. The cabin is equipped with two air
conditioners, a sensor for counting the number of passengers.
The double-section bus is equipped with a BMVK diesel engine (Euro-5),
its use reduces the number of harmful substances. The transport is controlled
using the Fast Gear automatic transmission.
