Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin today held a working meeting in the village of the Universiade. Remind that by the beginning of the new academic year it is planned to put into operation the first two residential blocks. They should accommodate from eight to ten thousand students of the Kazan university.
However as noted Vladimir Leonov, director of the Management of the Universiade-2013, regulations of a student hostel and the village of Universiade differ from each other, so the builders and organizers have to constantly look for innovative solutions of different problems.
Today material support of the first residential buildings became one of the basic questions of meeting. Furniture, sanitary technician, elevators are selected. Also Ilsur Metshin set the task to identify the organization, which will service the Universiade village.
Besides, this month in Moscow the meeting of organising committee on preparation and carrying out of Universiade-2013 will take place and there the decision will be accepted, in whose property as a result there will be a Village. While two basic variants are considered - either it will be the Volga Federal University campuses, either - some interuniversity management.
