Ildar Khalikov and Ilsur Metshin participated in the launch of work of the tunnel complex from the metro station "Dubravnaya"

Today in Kazan work of tunnel complex LOVAT “Syuyumbike” was launched, it will pave the tunnel from the future station "Dubravnaya" to the station "Aviastroitelnaya". The launch ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.

 Tunnel machine "Syuyumbike" is going to make the ninth tunnel, and in total more than 9 kilometers of underground track are on its account. Now it started the final tunnel of the first metro line length of 862 meters - it finishes the entire block of the first subway line from the station "Dubravnaya" to station "Aviastroitelnaya".

 "According to our plans, we will complete the paving to the end of March. Especially because we have all the conditions for this, - director of "Kazmetrostroy" Marat Rakhimov shared plans - We will not stop even during the holidays to finish the work quickly. We started to work here in March of this year, and in March of the future year it will be over".

 In accordance with long-standing tradition champagne bottle was broken of the body of tunnel machine. So an important new stage in the development of the Kazan subway was marked. The machine capacity of 1800 kW has started drifting the first meter of the left tunnel. Mayor Ilsur Metshin talked with workers and wished them success.

 As the M.Rakhimov told, the design of the second metro line is in the plans. "The second line will be laid from the station "Dubravnaya" to Fucik street and will reach the first line at the station "Yashlek" in the end - M.Rakhimov explained and added that all tunnel complexes are ready for all of these plans, and as soon as the designers will give all the necessary documentation, the work will be started.
