During the coronavirus pandemic, the construction
complex of Tatarstan did not stop its work for a single day. Tatarstan
President Rustam Minnikhanov stated this today at the board meeting of the
Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of Tatarstan. Deputy
Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation
Nikita Stasishin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and others, attended the meeting.
The share of construction industry in the economy of
the republic is about 8% – a level of 2019, he added. Last year, 50 republican
programs and 6 national projects totaling 64 billion rubles were implemented in
the construction complex of Tatarstan. 3,816 social facilities were built and
renovated under these works.
“In general, we managed to maintain the volume of
housing construction, as well as fulfill all obligations for construction and renovation
of social and cultural facilities and overhaul of apartment buildings”, - R.Minnikhanov
emphasized.
The Head of the republic also noted that the
implementation of programs aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens would
continue in full.
According to the volume of housing construction in
2020, the construction industry in Tatarstan remained previously achieved indicators:
2 million 680 thousand sq.m. of housing were put into operation, reported
Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of Tatarstan Marat
Aizatullin.
Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities
of the Russian Federation Nikita Stasishin, in turn, spoke
in detail about the new procedure for subsidizing low-margin housing projects,
