Seasonal agricultural fairs will open on March 14 in Kazan

Agricultural fairs will take place weekly in Kazan from March 14 to April 26. Vegetable, meat, as well as household goods at prices up to 15% lower than retail prices will be offered at the city fairs. Ruslan Fazylyanov, Chairman of the Consumer Market Committee, announced this at the Business Monday meeting.
«Last year, we renovated half of the city fairs and built two new sites in Salavat Kupere. The district administrations and the Consumer Market Committee monitor the work at each site. We know that our residents are looking forward to visit agricultural fairs, – said the Mayor of the city Ilsur Metshin. – I want to thank our farm-workers for the bread on the table, for the agricultural products, every year there are more and more products. It is diverse – it is a great work of our agricultural workers and all the villagers. Thank you. Our main task is to organize these fairs and ensure cleanliness, order and safety there».
Ruslan Fazylyanov noted that representatives of municipal districts of Tatarstan, as well as organizations of the agro-industrial complex of the republic, would take part in the fairs.
Fourteen fairs will work in the city Sundays from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm.
For residents of the Salavat Kupere residential complex, the fair will take place in the parking lot of a shopping center on Sadovaya Street, Osinovo village.
On the village of Severny, fairs will take place on Sundays at the intersection of Belomorskaya St. and Gudovantseva St.
«After a long break related to the reconstruction of the Moskovsky Market, fairs are returning again on Shamil Usmanov Street, 1», – said Ruslan Fazylyanov.
