The Mayor of Kazan together with his family took part in celebrations of the 50th anniversary of Nizhnekamsk, his native city.
The City Park pleased him the most out of all open objects. A fountain, a cafe, sports grounds, a sports equipment rental building and children's playgrounds appeared in it, and the famous 196-meter-high TV tower began to shine with 16 thousand shades of illumination, which will vary according to the seasons and days of the week.
Ilsur Metshin remembered how, as high school students, they planted trees there and even took care of them for a time, everyone knew their tree. “The TV tower, which has always been our Eiffel Tower, and the illuminations on it are amazing. This is something incredible!
