The Mayor
of Kazan Ilsur Metshin congratulated the 7th grade student of school № 130
named after the Hero of the Russian Federation Major S.A.Ashikhmin on the upcoming
birthday – tomorrow Albert will turn 13. The elder brother of the boy addressed
the head of the city with a request to congratulate him on behalf of his father,
participant of the special military operation. 14-year-old Timur studies with
his younger brother Albert at the same school.
Ilsur
Metshin responded to the request and came to school today. Timur met the head
of the city in the lobby and together they went to the classroom where Albert had
a Russian language lesson. He was very surprised to see the Mayor.
“I was deeply
touched that the brothers take care of each other so much, - the Mayor
addressed the students. - I received an email from an older brother. He wrote about
a birthday of his younger brother and asked to congratulate him, their father
is currently serving in a special military operation."
“Albert,
Timur, and you, children, take care of your family and friends, brothers,
sisters, mom and dad. I have two older siblings. We also grew up in a friendly
atmosphere,”- Ilsur Metshin said.
Timur also
shared his pride for his younger brother, who holds the title of champion of
the republic in judo. “Good job! – the head of the city praised the boy. – I am
very glad that we have such children growing up in Kazan. Your father protects
the Motherland. You will grow up and become defenders too. We served in the
army, each of us paid his duty. Therefore, be proud of your father. May God
grant he will come back soon and hug you.”
The Mayor presented
smartphones to the brothers. At parting, they took a memorable photo, and the
head of the city wished the classmates a good school year.
