Ilsur Metshin meets with Tatarstan bloggers

The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin met with Tatarstan bloggers. The head of the city got acquainted with the projects aimed at the development of the republic and its capital. The meeting with opinion leaders took place in the building of the former shoe factory, and now the modern creative location “Spartak Space”.

The Mayor of the city noted that the authorities are already cooperating with bloggers. “I am glad that there are such active people in Kazan. You are doing an important thing without any support. Let's continue our cooperation: the city is big, there are a lot of issues. We have the same goal – to make people's lives better. And you are already changing it, making it more interesting with the help of your content, our tasks are a little wider. Let's do it together. With your help will establish feedback with the population”, - the mayor suggested.

The meeting began with a tour of the creative site. The Mayor was shown all seven existing studios, the largest Kazan cyclorama, a lecture hall and a coworking. As Ilsur Metshin was told, it is here that many well-known bloggers work on their projects and create.

The acquaintance with the bloggers continued at the lecture hall area. The activists told the Mayor about their implemented projects. Many of them are aimed at the development of Kazan and the republic. For example, Artyom Gorlanov creates photos and videos for the Beautiful Tatarstan project, in which he tells about the unknown places of the republic. Ilsur Metshin asked if there is a video about Kazan among his videos, and offered to tell Tatarstan residents about places remote from tourist centers.

Then the Mayor of the city was acquainted with a video guide “Stories of Tatarstan” – bloggers, athletes, government representatives tell interesting stories about the republic. The founders of the project noted that they would like to launch a series of similar videos about Kazan. Another idea, which was told to the Mayor, is related to the Tatars of the World project. It unites the Tatar people from all over the world in social networks with the help of entertaining and informative content. Ilsur Metshin, in turn, noted that he had an idea to shoot 3D Tatar performances and distribute them through the project sites.

Other bloggers also told about their projects, among them tik-toker Aliya Magdeeva, correspondents of the YouTube project TatarstanDa, Tatar-speaking bloggers Ilnaz Gabidullin and Rinat Galiakhmetov and others.

The Mayor noted that the meeting was very positive and reminded that they have a great responsibility, because thousands of people listen to their opinion.

According to Ilsur Metshin, he is waiting for the initiative from bloggers and is ready to consider any ideas together with the heads of districts and divisions of the Executive Committee. “Let's meet more often. Let's make Kazan the best city on Earth. We are already on the way to this. Kazan is getting better, including through your work”, - the Mayor concluded.
