This year’s seventh humanitarian cargo was sent from Kazan to Lisichansk
and Rubezhnoye this year. In five trucks there are 90 tons of goods for the
restoration of infrastructure, collected by the Good Kazan fund together with
the residents of the city. The dispatch of the column was supervised by the
Mayor of the capital of the republic of Tatarstan Ilsur Metshin.
“This year we are sending the seventh humanitarian convoy. There are two
trucks of construction materials, glass, household chemicals, long–term storage
food items, clothing and medicines – everything necessary for the peaceful life
of Lisichansk and Rubezhnoye, – the Mayor said. – We receive feedback,
including from drivers who say that residents are waiting and are happy to receive
help. We will continue this work.”
Ilsur Metshin thanked caring Kazan residents and entrepreneurs who
participate in the collection of humanitarian aid. Alexander Dorofeev, an
entrepreneur, provided a facility for a central warehouse on Gorkovskoye
Highway. With his support, disinfectants for rodent control were purchased for
the humanitarian convoy – this is the first time these items are being sent in
such volume.
In total, the Kazan residents managed to collect 40 tons of vegetables,
20 tons of construction glass, 15 tons of baby supplies, household chemicals,
medical masks and long-term storage products. Construction materials, auto
parts and disinfectants weighing 15 tons were loaded into separate trucks.
One truck weighing 20 tons was collected with the help of the deputy of
the Russian State Duma Amir Khamitov together and the Good Kazan. It contains
special goods for military personnel and construction materials for the
restoration of housing intended for residents of Rubezhnoye.
