Approved the Presidium of Kazan City Duma
(KZN.RU, October 27, Ekaterina Andreeva). Today the Presidium membership has been approved by the Bureau of the City Duma at the first session of the Kazan City Duma deputies of the second convocation. It consists of the Head of the Municipality of Kazan, the first deputy, and two Vice-Mayors, Kazan City Duma Secretary, Chairmen of standing committees and the oldest deputy.
Besides under the statements of the representatives for the Communist Party faction one of its members has also been included in the Presidium. Recall that the first time Kazan City Duma operates under the multiparty system. Among the deputies there are the members of the Edinaya Rossiya Party (42 mandates), the Communist Party (3 mandates), the Liberal Democratic Party (3 mandates), and the Spravedlivaya Rossiya Party (2 mandate).
