“For me it is a personal holiday to visit the Icon of Our Lady here in Kazan, because Pope Ioann Paul II asked me to deliver this icon back to Russia and I brought it to Moscow,” Cardinal Walter Kasper informed.

The unofficial visit of the Chairman of the Council for Promoting Christian Unity Cardinal Walter Kasper to Russia started on May 21.
