Presentation of the new “Rubin” took place at the fan fest near Family Center “Kazan”

The Mayor of Kazan thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for the help provided to the club. “We would like to return to our champion years, and the players need your applause and your support to do so. The new emblem combines the first historical emblem of the team, which was the found by the Kazan Aviation Association named after Gorbunov, as well as the emblem of 1996, with which the most significant achievements of the club are linked, and a classic soccer ball from the date of the team foundation. The symbol Zilant became a major style-forming element. The direction of its wings and tail are identical now and they comply with the direction, which was given by the rocket from the first team emblem. The emblem borrowed focus and swiftness from the first emblem, and the winning tradition and solidity from the championship.

Three sets of uniforms were developed for the season; they were all represented by players of the club Elmir Nabiullin, Maxim Kanunnikov and Gokdeniz Karadeniz. Note that Kazan panorama is now applied to the sleeves shirts. The Fan Festival continued with the award ceremony of “Rubin” youth team. The team won the silver medal in Youth Russian championship last season for the first time in its history. Fans were able to take pictures with the players and get an autograph from them at the end of the celebration.

In addition, break dancers and rock bands performed for the audience during the festival. Fans were able to play in a football pool, to try their hand at kicker-football, to take part in competitions and to win an annual subscription to the matches of “Rubin’. The festival ended with performance of the club’s anthem by musicians of the VIA “Volga-Volga”.
