(KZN.RU, February 4, Ksenia Shvetsova). Kazan users of the Unified portal of state services of Russia have a new opportunity. Now they can receive registered letters from state bodies in electronic form. The electronic service was implemented by a municipal body for the first time in Russia, said Rifat Khannanov, the head of the Information Technology and Communications Directorate, at the Business Monday today.
The Information Technology and Communications Directorate of the Executive Committee of Kazan integrated the automated information system “Administrative Commission” with the service of the Russian Post “Gospochta”. This is a service that allows you to receive registered letters from government bodies in electronic form on the Unified portal of state services of Russia. Letters are stored in the personal account of the portal and can be printed if necessary.
From the beginning of the year, Gospochta can deliver notifications from various government agencies and departments, in particular, from the city’s administrative commission. Both individuals and legal entities will be able to receive letters. As R. Khannanov said, the users of the portal of state services need to activate the “registered email” service in the settings of the personal account. As soon as the e-mail, including notifications of fines, is delivered to your personal account, an e-mail, SMS, or push notification in the mobile application will be notified. The delivery of an electronic registered letter will be considered the entrance to the personal account on the portal gosuslugi.ru.
Electronic delivery happens almost instantly. “The possibility of receiving electronic registered letters not only frees us from the need to spend time on receiving a paper copy, but also frees local authorities from printing and packing notification envelopes”, said R. Khannanov. Through a personal account, you can also pay fines or penalties with a bank card in one click.
“The new service will be a convenient tool for more than half of the population of Kazan. Today, about 700 thousand citizens are registered on the portal of state services”, said Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan. “This is a good, convenient form of interaction, thanks to which people will save their time. New technologies are changing our lives. Refusal from paper letters allows us to save time and hundreds of thousands of rubles”, marked the Mayor.
