(KZN.RU,
August 26, Alina Berezhnaya). In the new school year, second-graders in Kazan
will be given the Diaries of a Young Ecologist. They will teach schoolchildren
to take care of nature. Ilnar Khidiyatov, the head of the Department of
Education, announced this today at the Business Monday.
Ilsur
Metshin noted that the Diary of a Young Ecologist is an important part of
children's environmental education. “We set the task not only to teach children
at school, but also to educate. We believe that the Diary of a Young Ecologist
will become part of a large program to improve urban ecology, teach students
how to collect garbage separately. Our young friends will become our helpers,
including in the education of their parents”, said I. Metshin.
In
addition, 19 thousand Kazan first-graders will be presented with Diaries of
Good Deeds, where children can write down their good deeds. The “Diary of Good
Deeds” has been implemented since September 2016 with the support of the Kazan
City Hall as part of the project “Good Kazan”. It is a system of motivating
children to do good deeds. Throughout the year, children write their good deeds
in their diary. Along with the print version of the diary, the online platform дневникдобрыхдел.рф also works. In the format of a social network,
project participants share their good deeds and participate in competitions.
The project receives flattering reviews from representatives of non-profit and
charitable organizations already in the first year of implementation.
