I.Metshin on the Presidential Address to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation: “Now the flag is raised much higher”
The President of
the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has a desire to see the demographic
increase through the well-being of people, their confidence about the future,
said the mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin after the Presidential Address to the
Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
The ceremony took place today in Moscow at the Manezh Central
Exhibition Hall. The Russian President's speech lasted more than an hour.
Vladimir Putin announced new social- support measures. Since this year the
following measures will be implemented - maternity capital payment for the
birth of the first child, monthly payments to low-income families for children aged
between three and seven, free meals for primary school students, and others.
“Everything was important, there are no issues that
would be insignificant for me, as for the mayor of a large city. Of course,
everything that concerns demography is very essential, because it is a characteristic
feature”, - Ilsur Metshin said in an interview to TNV.
The Kazan mayor noted that the most important
decisions on kindergartens and schools were announced in previous addresses. “But
now the flag is raised much higher. We saw this in the charts, in the iron will
of the leader of our country. Everything is well-defined and clearly stated, I
believe, by decisions that are supported financially. I am sure that with such
a systematic approach and large-scale goal setting, there will be results”, - I.Metshin
