business meetings are planned, as well as participation in the round table of Local

implementation of the new urban agenda”. Representatives of local and regional governments
will discuss existing coordination framework, explore the potential of joint
initiatives, and exchange views on solutions to common problems.
On February 10, the Mayor of Kazan will meet the UN Assistant
Secretary-General, UN-Habitat Deputy Executive Director Victor Kisob. The
United Nations Advisory Committee of Local Authorities (UNACLA) will also meet
on this day. For information, in November 2019, Ilsur Metshin was elected the President

Members of UNACLA representing local government
associations from five continents: Europe, Asia, Africa, North America and

in the period from 2015 to 2019. The speech of the Mayor of Kazan with a report

agenda of the meeting. It is planned that the 2020 road map will be approved as
a result of the meeting.
