The new polylingual
kindergarten №101 opens tomorrow on Pilotskaya Street in the Kirovsky district
of Kazan. Children will learn Russian, Tatar, and English with the help of
modern interactive equipment, learn robotics and make cartoons, and learn to
sort garbage at play. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and parents of preschool
children visited the new kindergarten.
The preschool
for 340 children will consist of 18 groups, 10 of which are nursery, and two
are designed for children with autism and intellectual disabilities. The
kindergarten already accepts the first preschool children in a test mode, and
from tomorrow, it will start normal operation.
The mothers, who
were visiting the kindergarten together with the Mayor for the first time, were
very impressed. In the lobby, there are screens where
parents can see the menu for children.
A big sports
hall is equipped with the necessary equipment, and the Russian athletics
champion Anna Krylova will train children. Children will learn languages not
only in special classes, but also at engineering classes.
In total, 42
employees work in the kindergarten, their average age is 35 years. All teachers
have a higher education, and 60% of them besides Russian, speak Tatar and
English. Children will learn languages according to the author's methodology,
developed four years ago under by Lilia Galieva. At the graduation from
kindergarten, the kids will be able to speak at least 500 words of both Tatar
and English.
The kindergarten
is equipped with music and sports halls, a class for learning languages, speech
therapist and psychologist offices, a Tatar language class, a medical unit, a canteen,
a laundry, as well as outdoor sports and playgrounds.
The kindergarten
№101 became one of three preschool institutions of the city, where the project
on separate waste collection, which is unique in Russia, to be implemented. “This
is a unique project in Russia. For the start, we developed a technical task,
and the Kazan manufacturer produced the first 11 bins for separate waste
collection,”- Irek Rizvanov, head of the Department of Education, told the head
of the city about the project.
Director of OOO
“TD KSK”Alexander Milyutin told the Mayor that the bins are made of a safe PET
material, they are convenient to use during games in the classroom, and the
height is up to 75 cm.
“The separate
waste collection has already been implemented in the yards of many residential
buildings. In our city, 75 thousand children go to preschool institutions, 149
thousand-study at schools. Therefore, our future plans are to raise a new a
generation of residents, our little helpers,”- I. Metshin addressed the
parents.
The head of the
administration of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts Sergey Mironov also
visited the new kindergarten.
