The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited the company Danaflex-Nano. 936
employees currently work in the production of flexible packaging and film
materials. The head of the city looked around the factory workshops, the
canteen of the enterprise, and also got acquainted with human resources
management of the company.
Azat Galiyev, Director of the Flexible Packaging business, member of the
Executive Directorate of Danaflex-Nano LLC, reported that Danaflex was founded
in 2001 and over the years has become the largest Russian manufacturer of
flexible packaging. The group of companies unites four plants with its own RTD
center. All plants are located in Tatarstan: two are located in Kazan, two are
located on the territory of the special economic zone SEZ Alabuga. The total
number of employees at all plants is 1,759 people. The group's revenue in 2022
amounted to 27 billion rubles, almost 100 thousand tons of products were manufactured.
Ilsur Metshin inspected the flexible packaging production shop and the
printing shop, got acquainted with the introduction of ESG principles at the
enterprise, visited the canteen and talked with the employees of the
enterprise. The Mayor was informed about the human resources management of
enterprises. Since July 2023, the group of companies has been providing its
employees with medical insurance, and since 2022– free meals in the canteens of
the enterprise. All factories are equipped with recreation rooms, a gym and showers.
The priority is also feedback from employees through the Open Window
system, employees can send anonymous messages that are processed every Friday. Online
meetings with top managers are also held for employees every month.
The lack of personnel of Danaflex-Nano LLC was compensated by the
modernized mentoring system introduced this year, which made it possible to
reduce the duration of training of new employees by half – from 16 to 8 months.
Previously, mentors had to supervise newcomers in addition to their main work.
To date, the work of mentors is carried out by adaptation managers. Danaflex plans to adopt this experience
at other plants.

worker, it is necessary to build a corporate culture and a motivation system.

management is a priority. This is very important,”- the Mayor said.
The business forum “Human resources are key” will be held on November 10
at the Kazan City Hall. It will bring together heads of industrial enterprises,
representatives of the corporate sector and business, the leadership of
universities and colleges, as well as representatives of other cities and
regions of the country.
Together with the Mayor of Kazan, the company was also visited by the
head of the administration of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky city districts Sergey
Mironov, head of the Human Resources Department Irina Bochkova, Chairman of the
Economic Development Committee Guzel Mingazova.
