Today, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Tatarstan Aleksey Sokolov opened a point guard in the Sovetsky city district. It is located in the Vesna residential complex. The point is designed for eight employees. It has become the first in this residential area and the 89th in the city.
“In the new districts, the comfort of residents, the improvement of yards, playgrounds and sports grounds are important for us. About 14 thousand people will live in this neighborhood, and the issue of security is crucial. It is a great gift for both residents and policemen. There are comfortable working conditions here. We hope that it will be safe in the area,”- Ilsur Metshin commented.
Residents of the residential complex can now contact employees on any issues of offenses: theft, fraud, and so on. For the convenience of citizens, a separate office is equipped, where employees accept applications.
In addition, the point guard has a screen with video surveillance cameras installed on the streets throughout the complex – at the entrances to the buildings and in the yards. According to Aleksey Sokolov, video cameras not only significantly increase the detection of crimes, but also serves as a deterrent for bad behavior.
“In this point guard, all applications from residents are considered, if necessary, we send them to the district police department. We are collecting records, it is automatically reported to the duty part of the police department. After that, the officers of the investigative officers arrive, who are further engaged in solving the crime,”- explained the head of the Azino-2 police department, Nagim Kharisov.
