Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, fulfilled the dreams of three
children with disabilities during the charity event “A Tree of Wishes”. One of
them, 7–year-old Kirill Andreev, was able to ride in the subway driver's seat
today.
This morning, the
subway workers was waiting for the boy and his family at the Yashlek station. They
told Kirill about the work of the dispatcher, he saw how trains arrive, how
passengers disembark and board. Then Kirill drove from Dubravnaya station
through a tunnel in the driver's cabin.
After that, the boy and his parents were given a tour of the metro
depot. They were shown where the trains “spend the night” and where they are
being repaired. In the classroom, Kirill was able to “work” as a machinist with
the help of an electric train simulator of the Rusich model.
In conclusion, the boy was waiting for another surprise – a meeting with
Father Frost and the Snow Maiden. Kirill told them the poem and received gifts.
