A new production facility of Municipal Unitary Enterprise “Urban Improvement” has been put into operation in Kazan. The facility is located at 50 Vorovskogo. New location of the base allows reducing the time for the departure of municipal equipment to the serviced areas by 30%. Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin visited the new facility together with representatives of the city and republican media during a press tour.
«Last year, we started designing and building a new urban improvement facility. Today we see decent conditions here for 250 employees of the company. This is very important: employees undergo a medical examination here, check the technical serviceability of the vehicles, return after a shift and wait for the next order. These are good conditions. We are setting a new standard for our municipal unitary enterprises so that they have the capacity to store equipment and to repair it. There are no small things in such work», – the Mayor shared his impressions of the new facility.
The Municipal Unitary Enterprise «Urban Improvement» serves almost 4.4 million square meters of streets – this is the territory of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky city districts and partially Kirovsky and Moskovsky city districts.
A repair block, an administrative and household building, warehouses for storing reagents and a sand-salt mixture, as well as a warm sink for road equipment have been built on the facility.
