Today, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited TREM-Kazan, a resident of the Khimgrad Technopolis. The company design and manufactures devices that allow gas compressors to operate for years without leaks or accidents. The company competes with Western and Asian manufacturers in some technologies and exports products to eight countries and 41 regions of Russia.
“Good to know that you're not just using new technologies, but also competing with technologically advanced countries like Germany, England, and the United States. Our achievements in manufacturing compressors are based on a solid Soviet foundation, which you have been able to revive and expand. The fact that you have grown from a team of four to a large production facility with nearly 90 professionals is a testament to your success,”- said Ilsur Metshin.
TREM-Kazan produces dry-running gas seals that pump natural gas through pipelines. These devices prevent gas leaks, and their main feature is a unique anti-static coating that prevents the accumulation of static electricity.
“Our anti-static coating extends the lifespan of seals up to 4-5 years of continuous operation without repairs. Besides our company, only American manufacturers can offer such technologies today,”- said Ivan Bagaev, the head of TREM-Kazan and a member of the Kazan City Duma.
