The Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was presented with the concept of the digital transformation of Kazan. The key topics included the modernization of municipal management, AI, and a new HR model aimed at developing human resources. The presentation took place at the renovated Department of Personnel Policy and the IT Department of Kazan.
The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin emphasized that the city focuses on synergy of infrastructure development and modern management solutions. “Municipal sector salaries cannot compete with large businesses, so we are focusing on unique professional experience. Our goal is to attract and keep staff, and to use digital technologies to make the city more comfortable for living. We have studied the best experience in our country and around the world to not only attract but also keep our people,” said Ilsur Metshin.
According to Ilsur Metshin, the development of the city is impossible without a synergy of high-quality infrastructure and a strong management team. “We spend billions of rubles on infrastructure development, but it's important for people to receive simple and clear answers to their questions. Previously, people did not believe that their requests would be addressed, so they didn't bother to contact us. However, now people see that 90% of their issues are being resolved, so they have become more proactive. The more we do, the higher the expectations we face,”- the Mayor noted.
