The Resource Center of NGO “The Good Kazan” on Kalinina Street houses nine non-profit organizations. The offices are provided on a free basis. Here, volunteers assist people with disabilities, special military operation fighters and their families, as well as to pregnant women and mothers in a difficult life situation. Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin inspected the work of the Resource Center yesterday.
“This year, “The Good Kazan” marked its 10th anniversary. We started by bringing together caring people, charitable organizations, and volunteers. Now, “The Good Kazan” units 134 organizations. It is always a pleasure to meet with you. You provide support to the families of special military operation participants, people with disabilities, and mothers who find themselves in difficult situations with their children. This is our responsibility to create conditions for systematic assistance to those in need, so that Kazan can truly be a kind city. I want to thank you, and we will continue to support you, as you are our source and proud,”- said Ilsur Metshin.
ANO “The Good Kazan” works as a resource center for the city's non-profit organizations. Many city projects are implemented in close partnership with various foundations and charitable organizations.
The main venue for events is a co-working space at 5 Sechenova Street, as well as the Vmeste inclusive center for children with disabilities and their parents. However, many non-profit organizations require storage space. To address this issue, the Mayor of Kazan ordered to provide non-residential premises at 3 Kalinina Street, with a total area of 1,000 square meters. This space can accommodate up to 20 volunteer organizations.
