International school to be built near Kazan
(KZN.RU, August 27) A project of an international school at Yasnaya Polyana was discussed at a meeting between President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the head of Fielding and Nair International Jay Litman. The meeting, held at Tatarstan's Government House, was also attended by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.
During the meeting, the project of the school to be built in Tatarstan was presented. According to the developers, this will be the first school in the republic to meet all international standards. It will employ international teachers, and students not only from Tatarstan and Russia, but also from abroad, will attend it. The teaching will be conducted in English and will follow special educational programs meeting the IB standards. These ensure the equivalence of education throughout the world.
