Olympic Flame to be lit outside Kazan Arena December 31
(KZN.RU, December 28, by Renat Shirmanov) The Olympic Flame Relay route has been finally approved in Kazan. The Olympic symbol will be taken around some of Kazan's most significant spots – the "Ekiyat" theater, the Kremlin and the Kazan Arena soccer stadium. Road closures due to the torch relay should be organized in such a way that they do not not affect the festive mood of the residents and guests of Tatarstan. This was stated at today's staff meeting of the Executive Committee by Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin.
The Flame is due to arrive at the train station on December 30.It will be lit outside the Kazan Arena soccer stadium at approximately 14:00, December 31.
