Permanent exhibition of works by Salvador Dali will appear in Kazan

 Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and private collector Alexander Shadrin discussed the possibility of establishing a permanent exhibition of works of Dali in the homeland of his beloved. Yesterday Ilsur Metshin visited an exhibition of works by famous artist, where he examined an exposition and met with the owner of the collection Alexander Shadrin. - The fact that we held the exhibition of such level, once again confirms the status of Kazan as the third capital of Russia, - said the Mayor of the city. He thanked Mr. Shadrin for the valuable gift - a lithograph entitled "The Face", which was handed over the State Museum of Fine Arts of Tatarstan by the collector. According to Alexander Shadrin, this latest work of Dali, which depicts his wife, Gala. "I just thought, how can I thank the city, birthplace of Dali's muse, and have thought up. I wanted Gala was here in her homeland - in Kazan", - said the collector. Also the Mayor and the owner of the collection discussed the possibility of establishing a permanent exhibition of works by Dali directly in Kazan, in the house where previously lived beloved of the artist. Let's remind that the exhibition of works by the artist has opened in Kazan in early February. For a month of work it was visited by more than 10 thousand people. The exhibition will stay in the capital of the republic until March 15.
