Ilsur Metshin presented new head coach to Kazan "Rubin"
(Kazan City KZN.RU, June 21). Mayor of Kazan, the president of football club "Rubin" Ilsur Metshin presented new coach Javier Gracia to the team. The meeting was held at the stadium "Kazan Arena".
"I hope that we will achieve the results that the team, the fans, the city and the republic's leadership want", - I. Metshin addressed to the players of the club. H.Grasiya, in turn, introduced his coaching staff, which includes physical coach Juan Solya, assistant coach Iban Andres and coach of goalkeepers Inigo Arteaga. Head coach, expressing hope for the support and cooperation of the team, said that he is looking forward to starting of work. "We can achieve something only by one way - work. This is the first step towards the goal to which you need to go every day,"- H.Grasia said.
The club's general director Ilgiz Fakhriev told about the plans of the preparation of team for the new season. According to him, from 21 to 28 June, players will train in Kazan, and then 2 collections in Austria wait for the team. From 29 June to 10 July, the first training session is scheduled, during which the team will conduct 2 test matches. During the second, from 14 to 29 July, "Rubin" will have 3 sparrings.
