Today, the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin met the former
player of football club Rubin Gokdeniz Karadeniz. At the meeting, which was
held at the Executive Committee of the city, they discussed the construction of
a mosque in the village of Kalinino.
Former Rubin player and Turkish footballer Gokdeniz Karadeniz invests his own funds in the construction of the mosque. The Foundation stone laying was made in June 2016. Today, according to the athlete, construction is near completion – it is assumed that all works will be completed in the summer of this year. The two-story mosque will have two minarets, one of them is designed in the Tatar style, the second-in the Ottoman style.
The head of the city thanked G.Karadeniz for the construction of the mosque and wished successful completion of the work.
