Ilsur Metshin played for the Greens at the opening match of the Golden puck city stage
The city stage of the
All-Russian Golden puck competition named after A. Tarasov started today at the
Black lake park in Kazan. The tournament opened up with a friendly match.
Before the game,
the Mayor congratulated young athletes on the start of the tournament. After
that, a legend of Kazan hockey, captain of the SC named after Uritsky and
former top scorer of HC Ak Bars, Sergei Stolbun together with Kazan Mayor Ilsur
Metshin and the captains of the teams - school № 69 Vyacheslav Garanin and
Volna team Denis Zybin, performed a symbolic face-off.
In the opening
match, the players of the Green and White teams crossed their sticks on the
ice. The first team included the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, first deputy
head of Kazan Executive Committee Rustem Gafarov, the head of administration of
Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts Sergei Mironov, General Manager of HC Ak Bars
Rafik Yakubov. Their opponents were the White team, which included the head of
the administration of Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts Andrey Lobov, the
head of administration of Sovetsky district Roman Fatkhutdinov and the head of
the Old settlement prefecture of Kazan Robert Garipov.
The first period
ended up with a 1-1 score. A real matchup happened in the second period, the
teams fought hard. In the 22nd minute of the game, Ilsur Metshin scored a goal.
In the White team, Denis Yelin, a player of Volna team, netted a goal. The
match ended up with the score of 3:2 for the Greens.
