Today Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin congratulated on housewarming war veterans who received apartments in the new house at the address Glushko, house number 8. Here settled 104 members of the war.
Ilsur Metshin visited five families, congratulated them on the new home and gave gifts to veterans and jubilee medals "65 Years of Victory in Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945".
To ensure maximum comfort for living veterans was decided to place on the first floor of the house office of general practitioner, reference consulting service, post of public order, station of magistrates, grocery store.
"All veterans in Kazan, who had registered from March 1, 2005 to May 1, 2010 will be provided with accommodation", - promised the Mayor of Kazan in an interview. He also noted that other categorie of veterans that have registered later before the end of the year will receive flats. Support will be provided for those who want to change the place of residence and obtain an apartment in the capital of Tatarstan.
According Ilsur Metshin, in general the quality of construction in this house is worthy, though visiting the apartment of Vladimir Kutuzov Mayor of Kazan noticed shortcomings in laying of linoleum. "These shortcomings we will eliminate" - he promised.
Sharing his impressions of today's visit, Mayor noted that the veterans happy with the quality of housing, adding that they are an example of how to relate to life, appreciate every moment of it.
Currently in the Office of the housing policy of the Executive committee of Kazan are registered 511 veterans (those who got registered before March 1, 2005), of which implemented the housing subsidy - 488. 181 veterans has already solved their housing problem. The active moving of veterans in the houses built under the program of social mortage began in February 2010. As of April 2 155 veterans moved into new apartments, 26 have purchased housing in the secondary market. Of the 330 war veterans, who have not received a new flat to the date, 257 are planning to move until May 1, 71 veterans - after May 1, 2 veterans are legalising documents for secondary accomodation. After January 1, 2010 were admitted to accounting and submitted in the Ministry of labour, employment and social protection of Tatarstan 335 war veterans.
