Prizes in honor of the Sabantui and the Worlf Cup 2015 were played on Kazan racetrack
(Kazan City KZN.RU, August 1, Zilya Gayfi). Prizes in honor of the holiday Sabantuy and the championship in Aquatics were played today at the International Equestrian Sports Complex "Kazan". The course of events was observed by Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, head of the Executive Committee of the city Denis Kalinkin, the head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov, representatives of republic departments and the Executive Committee of Kazan, as well as numerous guests and residents of the city.
As a part of the competition 3 runs and 7 races took place for a prize "Sabantuy-2015", a prize in honor of the championship of Aquatics "Kazan FINA-2015", a prize of Mayor of Kazan, Tatarstan Grand Derby prize, a prize of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, a prize "Favorite of the Volga region", a prize of the Kazan Kremlin, and others.
The longest distance in the competition was 2,400 meters, the shortest - 1000 meters. The total prize fund of the sports festival was 7.5 million rubles.
Stallions and mares from two years, Thoroughbred and Arabian horses with the best jockeys of Russia and Tatarstan were competing. Stallion Veduchi under control of master jockey Khamzat Ulubayev won Grand Derby prize of Tatarstan with the largest prize fund of 1.5 million rubles. Agility of the horse valued at 2.37 seconds. Khamzat Ulubaev also won the prize in honor of the championship in Aquatics "Kazan FINA-2015". The bay stallion Si Coud under his control finished with the result of 2.11 seconds.
Master jockey Nikolai Kolomeytsev won the prize in honor of Sabantuy-2015. The bay stallion Friend End Phaser came first with a score of 2.1 seconds under his management.
Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the Social Affairs Natalia Grechannikova awarded the winners.
In frames of celebration of Sabantui at the racetrack concert program, prize draw lottery, exhibition of Kazan companies and manufacturers of the districts of Tatarstan were organized.
