KZN.RU, December 18, Ksenia Shvetsova). Mayor Ilsur Metshin visited the charity
exhibition, "When I will grow up", which takes place in the City
Hall. Touching photographs dedicated to children living in the "Ronald
McDonald House" in the Republican Children's Hospital of Tatarstan. Head
of the city was accompanied by the chief doctor of CRCH Rafael Shavaliev.
The
exhibition presents more than 20 photographs, which tell about the lives of
children with serious illnesses. Every child in the photograph shows what he
wants to be when he grows up - so pictures embody the dreams of children who
daily pass through the ordeal. Kids in the photos look in the mirror, where
they see themselves as astronauts, doctors, footballers, artists. The shooting
was also attended by well-known people of the city - the successful
representatives of their professions. Guests of the City Hall can see the
process of creating the exhibition in a separate hall. The photographer Igor
Zalomsky is the author of the exhibition.
The Mayor endorsed
the idea of creating an exhibition dedicated to children's dreams. "When
children are seriously ill, everything has a value: the support of parents and
the conditions in which they live. But the main thing for any child is a dream.
The idea of this exhibition reflects the philosophical thought: it is very
important that children become adults mentally reaching for their dreams"-

Each
visitor can decide how much fee to pay for an entrance - you can see a photo
exhibition for any donation. All collected funds will be used for the
maintenance of a charitable hotel "Ronald McDonald House" in Kazan.
There children from regions of the republic, who are forced to undergo
long-term treatment, live with their families. Hotel is maintained entirely by
charitable donations, and all services - cleaning, cooking, etc. - parents do
themselves. Kazan "Ronald McDonald House" is the first such
charitable project in Russia that every resident of the republic can support.
The Mayor also
made a donation to the account of the fund and wished children a speedy
recovery and realization of all dreams. Kazan Mayor expressed special thanks the
chairman of the board of "Ronald McDonald House" Khamzat Khasbulatov.
"One of the first of such houses was built in Kazan, for which I want to
thank Khamzat Khasbulatov, with whom we have opened it. This man does a lot for
Kazan and for the whole republic ", - the Mayor thanked.
It is
possible to visit the exhibition until December 19 from Tuesday to Sunday from
12.00 to 19.00.
