(KZN.RU,
April 13). The issue of increasing the grant support of charitable and public
organizations, which operate on the territory of the republic, is being worked
out in Tatarstan. Leila Fazleeva, the assistant to the President of Tatarstan,
urged the participants of the roundtable in the Kazan City Hall, devoted to
charity, to take an active part in competitions for grants from the Cabinet of
Ministers and the Public Chamber of Tatarstan. The topic of participation of
non-profit organizations in competitions for grants was discussed today with
the participation of Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan.
Ramziya
Kosareva, the vice-president of the “AMTEC Foundation”, a charity fund for the
support of young scientists in medicine, said that their fund helps young
scientists to attract funding for the implementation of innovative ideas. “We
are faced with the problem that if a person is given the choice of transferring
100 rubles to a sick child or 10 rubles to a young doctor who can save a
thousand patients, a person will choose the first, which is normal”, noted
Ramziya Kosareva. According to her, a grant support is one of the most
effective measures for the development of the charity culture. “If there was a
competition for grants for the development of charity projects within the
municipality, more good deeds could be realized”, she said.
Leila
Fazleeva said that the head of the republic is now working on the issue of
increasing the grant support of charitable and public organizations working in
the territory of Tatarstan. “We need to actively participate in competitions
for grants, which will be held by the Cabinet of Ministers and the Public
Chamber of Tatarstan”, said the assistant to the President of the RT.
Ilsur
Metshin expressed his hope for an early adoption of a decision on increasing
republican grants. “We must learn how to apply for competitions correctly,
including at the federal level”, he addressed the roundtable participants.
Vladimir
Vavilov, the chairman of the board of the Regional Public Charity Fund of the
Republic of Tatarstan for the care of children suffering from leukemia named
after Angela Vavilova, who is a member of the Coordinating Committee for
holding contests for the grant of the President of the Russian Federation for
the development of civil society, said that receiving applications for the
contest will start on April 17. As he said, this year grants will be
distributed in a new way and the organizations across all country can receive
them. V. Vavilov noted that startups will be able to apply for the competition
too: if there are recommendations from working funds and organizations.
According
to the decree of the President of the RF №93 by April 3, 2017, a subsidy of 4.3
billion rubles is envisaged for grant contests this year. “Our task is to
participate in these competitions as much as possible”, said Damir Fattakhov,
the first deputy head of the Executive Committee.
