(KZN.RU,
May 31, Alsu Safina). On the eve of the International Day of children's
protection, which is celebrated on June 1, Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of
Tatarstan, and Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, visited the children's music
school №5. The school has incredibly changed after major repairs last year and
is one of the most professionally equipped music schools in the city and the
only one with an organ class.
The
Children's Music School, founded in 1945, is located in the building №43 at
Chaliapin Street since 1962. Before the beginning of the school year, major
repairs were carried out in the institution on a special project and with the
study of European experience, thanks to which the pupils now have modern and
comfortable conditions for creative work. The overhaul, which was carried out
at the expense of sponsorship by the contract organization OOO “StroySoyuz”,
lasted for 3.5 months. And during this time the school changed beyond
recognition. Roofing, windows, utilities, plumbing equipment have been replaced
here, the floors and soundproof partitions are equipped, the facade and
entrance panels are updated, ramps and handrails for the low-mobility groups
are arranged, and the furniture was renovated during the repair work. The
musical theme in the form of keys and notes was reflected in the interior of
the school, at the entrance to the institution, and even on the fence.
Yulia
Vladimirova, the deputy general director of the OOO “StroySoyuz”, and Svetlana
Suleimanova, the director of the music school, told the President of Tatarstan
about the activities of the institution and made a tour around the school.
Svetlana Suleimanova noted that 512 children are studying at the institution,
56 teachers are working, and 9 branches are functioning: piano, string, folk,
wind and percussion instruments, vocal-choral, theoretical, general piano,
organ, and theatrical. Since 2014, the school is the base for rehearsals of the
Youth Symphony Orchestra of the RT. The Rock School was opened on the basis of
the music school №5 in 2009, which now functions as a municipal budgetary
cultural establishment.
The tour
for the President of the Republic began with the organ class, which had opened
here after major repairs. Now 15 pupils are practice to play this instrument
here. The guests also attended a music lesson, dedicated to Tatar music, a
choreography lesson, and then went to the assembly hall where the rehearsals
were held. Now everything in the assembly hall is designed in accordance with
the laws of acoustics.
The
President of Tatarstan positively assessed the results of the overhaul, noting
interesting design decisions. In the end, Rustam Minnikhanov and Ilsur Metshin
left their autographs on an improvised music staff.
