The construction of a children's polyclinic is being completed in
Derbyshki. Alongside, work is underway on landscaping the adjacent territory,
where a thousand residents live. The territory is being renovated according to
the Our Yard republican program. It is planned to complete construction work in
the polyclinic on June 1, it will serve more than 11 thousand children and
adolescents from Derbyshki and neighboring villages. After that, medical
equipment and furniture will be delivered to the institution. The progress of
work was inspected today by the Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture,
Housing and Communal Services Marat Aizatullin and the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur
Metshin.
The four-storey building of the branch of the polyclinic - 6 occupies an
area of almost 6,400 sq.m. This space will allow to accommodate everything necessary
for a modern outpatient clinic. The polyclinic is designed for 180 visits per
shift, 245 pediatricians and doctors will work there.
“The new polyclinic is a long–awaited facility for residents of
Derbyshki. More than 11 thousand people were previously served in poor conditions.
The facility will be put into operation shortly,” – said the Mayor of Kazan.
According to the chief physician of the children's polyclinic - 6 Mansur
Kitaev, in order to avoid the accumulation of patients in one place, the
departments were divided into blocks. On the ground floor there is a reception,
a wardrobe, comfortable waiting areas and a cafe. There is a dairy kitchen
delivery area, an emergency department, an infectious disease ward, a
laboratory, an emergency room and an X-ray room.
Ilsur Metshin and Marat Aizatullin inspected the lobby and went up to
the second floor, where the pediatricians' offices are located. There will be
eleven pediatric units, on average one unit serves a thousand children from
birth to adulthood. In addition to residents of Derbyshki, children living in
the villages of Chebaksa, Nagorny, Abu-Dabi, Kinderi, Aki, Novaya Sosnovka,
Karier, Kulseitovo and Nauchny gorodok will be served in the medical
institution.
On the third floor there is a day patient hospital, offices of doctors,
a salt room, a physical therapy room with changing rooms and a physiotherapy
room. The day patient hospital includes two wards for boys and girls with 5
beds each. “The hospital will work in several shifts as needed. Its capacity is
several times higher than 10 people per day,”- explained Vladimir Zhavoronkov,
Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The salt room deserves special attention – there are usually no such
premises in municipal polyclinics. The salt room can be visited for the
prevention and treatment of respiratory diseases, this is especially true for
children who suffered from a coronavirus. The generator for the salt room has
already been delivered, it will be installed soon. “It's great that each
facility has its own unique feature. This clinic has a whole set of
innovations: a spacious physical therapy room, a day patient hospital and a
trauma center. This is a big deal. Not a hospital, but the health temple,”- I.
Metshin stressed.
According to Roman Fatkhutdinov, the head of the administration of the
Sovetsky district, asphalt will be repaired in the adjacent yards by June, the
lighting system will be updated, and small architectural forms will be
installed. Two playgrounds and two workout zones are equipped on the territory.
Additionally, 70 trees and 150 shrubs will be planted in the yards, and a lawn
with an area of 13,400 square meters will be sown. The fence and the heating
point will be decorated with graffiti.
