Ilsur Metshin on the New Year's decoration of the capital of Tatarstan: “We will manage to avoid large purchases with existing inventory”

Work on the New Year's decoration of the city has started in Kazan. Specialists have already started installing arches in the Black Lake Park and on Baumana Street, the installation of a New Year’s tree at the Philharmonic and illuminations in the Uritsky park has begun. Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky forest, the square of the 100th anniversary of the Construction Industry of the republic of Tatarstan, luminous forms on Universiade Avenue. This was announced during the Business Monday meeting by the deputy head of the Executive Committee of the city Igor Kulyazhev.

"Our entrepreneurs, owners of their own buildings, business representatives are also actively involved. All this creates a New Year mood for both residents and tourists. We will do our best to create a festive atmosphere, but we will manage to avoid large purchases with existing inventory,”- said Mayor Ilsur Metshin.

"We plan that the new luminous forms will be installed along Karla Marksa st,, N. Yershova st. and Vishnevskogo st. This way we will be able to fully decorate the route that thousands of drivers and passengers of public transport use every day,”- the deputy head of the Executive Committee noted.

This year, the main New Year's site will traditionally be located at the Kazan Family Center, where a New Year’s tree with illumination in the form of a tent will be installed. Residents and guests of the capital of the republic of Tatarstan will be able to watch bright animation moving to the beat of the music.
