The enrollment of children in schools starts on April 1

On April 1, an enrollment campaign for children in the first grade will start in Kazan. In the upcoming school year, more than 17,000 children will enter the first grade. This was announced by Irek Rizvanov, head of the Kazan Education Department, today.

«We are actively building social facilities, including schools and kindergartens. In five years, we have constructed 16 new schools and additional buildings, which is a positive indicator compared to other cities in the Russian regions»,” – said Ilsur Metshin.

Kazan Mayor added that the goal is to provide children with decent conditions to gain knowledge and discover their talents. «The newly built schools have everything needed: spacious recreational areas, wonderful canteens, laboratories, gyms and swimming pools. The assembly halls are like real concert venues with a capacity of over 550 people, equipped with all necessary equipment. This is a true palace of culture», – the Mayor emphasized.

Traditionally, enrollment is available in four ways: by online portals of public services of Tatarstan and Russia, by the Russian Post, or by visiting an educational organization in person.
